Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG implemented a new RFID Kanban system for the French manufacturer of camping equipment and motor homes, Trigano, at their Mamers location. This intelligent solution safeguards efficient supply of C-parts to production. With the most recent project for Trigano, Würth Industrie Service has now equipped 600 customers with this solution all over Europe.

Sales record 2017: Würth Industrie Service exceeds EUR 500 million mark
Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG can look back on an exceptionally successful year 2017. Reporting double-digit growth of 11 %, the customers’ reliable partner for C parts management generated sales of EUR 504 million for the very first time. The number of employees rose to 1,489. In 2018, Würth Industrie Service strives to achieve similar growth rates, mainly investing in staff and the further development of digital solutions in C-Parts management.

Certified expertise - First continuing education seminar for future PPE product specialists at Würth Industrie Service
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is not only useful, but indispensable for employees. Whether the aim is to protect your eyes, ears, hands, skin or yourself from falling, or you are talking about safety shoes- or clothes - PPE is needed wherever people take protective measures to ensure health and safety at work. This is just one of the reasons why especially industry businesses should pay close attention to this topic. In this connection, qualification plays a decisive role. Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG recognized this need early on and formed a team of PPE experts for its customers already back in 2007. Their expertise was now backed up further by the seminar for future PPE product specialists that was organized by TÜV SÜD Akademie. From November 27th to December 1st 2017, 16 employees participated in this in-depth further education seminar at Industriepark Würth in Bad Mergentheim.

Space for 150,000 pallets - Würth Industrie Service’s extended logistics centre starts operation
Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its European logistics centre in Bad Mergentheim. A new fully automatic high-rack warehouse has raised capacity by more than 49,000 pallet storage slots to currently around 650,000 storage locations, 150,000 of them for pallets alone.

The winners of the showcase event, the German Packaging Awards 2016, have been chosen. An independent expert jury selected 34 of the best packaging solutions out of more than 200 entries from Germany, France, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland and Switzerland.
