Welcome aboard: Würth Industrie Service welcomes 900th apprentice in over 20 years of company history
On 1st September 2021, more than 70 young adults started their apprenticeship and dual course of study at Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG. No matter whether a classic apprenticeship in commercial as well as technical field or a dual education: the entry into the world of work is a defining moment in everyone’s life. This is also true for Yulia Bessonova, who was welcomed as the 900th apprentice during the welcome event.

Expanding the industrial business in Poland – Establishing Würth Industrie Service Polska
With the spin-off of the current industrial business Würth Industrie Service Polska Sp. z o. o. on 1st July 2021, the strategic expansion of the industrial sector in Poland has started. The national company is now independently active in the operating business. The former branch office of Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG and its potential to strengthen the business in the Polish market was recognised.

Würth Industrie Service closes the fiscal year 2020 with 536 million euros of turnover
Despite the market conditions being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG was able to achieve a turnover of 536 million euros in the fiscal year 2020. “Last year was particularly challenging in all aspects.” states Rainer Bürkert, Member of the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group. “The Coronavirus forced us into a temporary lockdown. We had to take extraordinary steps to maintain operational efficiency in all of the business units, ensure delivery capacity of our logistics as well as fully support our systems in C-Parts management and, above all protect our employees.” clarifies Mr. Bürkert.

Virtual attraction “Drillberg” – More than 950 visitors for the digital event
Being located on the grounds of former Deutschorden barracks that are rich in tradition and being one of the most modern logistics centre for industrial supply today in Europe, Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Mergentheim continues to attract many national and international visitors year after year. Even in this turbulent and extraordinary year 2020, we managed to welcome around 1.500 guests by adhering to the hygiene and safety measures. Tradition and Innovation - 20 years of Würth Industrie Service: Looking back on 20 years of corporate history
Quite often one only realizes that something has changed when taking a look back. This also applies to Würth Industrie Service. A lot has happened ever since its inception on 13 January 1999. Before, it was the Industry Division of the parent company, Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG in Künzelsau, and only had 88 employees on the payroll. Very early on, Reinhold Würth realized the growth potential of catering to industry customers. Today, the business occupies a leading position in the field of C parts management and employs more than 1,640 staff at their very own location on Drillberg in Bad Mergentheim. More information

Sales record 2017: Würth Industrie Service exceeds EUR 500 million mark
Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG can look back on an exceptionally successful year 2017. Reporting double-digit growth of 11 %, the customers’ reliable partner for C parts management generated sales of EUR 504 million for the very first time. The number of employees rose to 1,489. In 2018, Würth Industrie Service strives to achieve similar growth rates, mainly investing in staff and the further development of digital solutions in C-Parts management. More information
