In this way, you can access all Würth items and work in a fast and effective manner within your software.
Successful EDI integration in 3 steps
Prerequisites: To use electronic catalogues, you need a management system such as an ERP system, an industry-specific software solution, or a platform.
- Select suitable format: Our e-business experts support you in the selection of optimum catalogue format for your system environment.
- Contact us: Get in touch with your personal contact person or contact us directly – we will be happy to advise you.
- Setting up the interface: Together with you, we integrate the catalogue into your system landscape – quick, reliable and customised.
This makes your purchasing digital, simple and efficient.
Dynamic catalogues
In dynamic catalogues, item data like product range, availability and prices are updated automatically and regularly. The Würth online shop is a dynamic catalogue and can be integrated directly into your procurement system, e.g., via an OCI or IDS interface.
We will integrate the following PunchOut interfaces for you
This is how PunchOut interfaces work
With a PunchOut interface, you can access the online shop of a supplier directly from your procurement system. In this way, you can interchange extensive item data like product range, individual prices, availability and supplementary documents – always up-to-date and transparent. You can transfer the required items or entire shopping carts back to your own system quickly and easily for further processing.
- Request a PunchOut interface – our experts will be happy to help you find a suitable solution.
- The PunchOut interface connects your management system directly with our online shop and provides you access to the product catalogue without re-login.
- After the connection, you can add the desired products to the shopping cart. All the relevant information like quantity, price, delivery address, cost centres or approvals are automatically transferred to your management system.
- Thereafter, the prepared order undergoes internal processes in the company like inspections, approvals and budget checks before it is transferred to us for further processing.
Static catalogues
Static catalogues contain product and price information in a fixed format and are imported directly to your management system. In this way, all relevant data is available to you. As automatic updating is not available, static catalogues must be manually reviewed, checked and approved in case of changes.
We support the following file formats for static catalogues
How static catalogues work
Our experts support you from the very beginning and are available to assist you with any questions.
- To use a static catalogue, first select the desired data format.
- The catalogue data will then be made available to you by email or as a download.
- After importing it into your system, you will have direct access to the Würth item data.
- In case of changes or updates, you will receive a new file that you can simply upload into your system.
