Ribbed washers

Ribbed washers that press in

from our W.TEC® product series

Our newly developed ribbed washer combines simplicity with technical sophistication. Its one-piece locking system secures your screw connection against self-loosening.

Junker test according to DIN 65151 and DIN 25201-4

The locking effect of all dimensions was confirmed by an independent institute via a Junker test according to DIN 65151 and DIN 25201-4.

The residual preload of the screw connection was still at least 80% after the test.

Ribbed washers

How do ribbed washers work?

Due to the preload applied during assembly, the radial ribs of the ribbed washer press into the mating material.

This process results in a form-fit connection of the respective contact surfaces. This form fit in combination with the angles α and β ensures reliable locking against loosening even under strong dynamic influences and vibrations.
